The Center for Chemical Evolution partners with a host of community serving organizations, and our partnership with New American Pathways has been one of the most successful.
New American Pathways is a refugee-serving non-profit working in the metro-Atlanta area. They help new Americans establish themselves with housing, job placement, and other assistance. The Center has worked specifically with New American Pathways' after-school and summer programs for middle schoolers.
We have sent several groups of educators, graduate students, and even summer researchers to present to the New American Pathways student program about careers, science, and chemical evolution. We have presented the Group Intelligence program and shared out work with Stated Clearly.
We hope to continue our work with New American Pathways and to expand our partnerships with local community serving organizations.
